Florence offers a wide range of alternatives every day of the year. You could visit churches and museums on Saturday, as well as do a little shopping. Sunday is the right day to visit museums, while churches are often crowded for the messes. On Mondays, all of the 3 major museums (Uffizi, Galleria dell’Accademia e Palazzo Pitti) are closed, therefore it is best to plan on visiting churches and go shopping.
